Description
Mary King Longfellow, a Portland native and daughter of Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's younger brother Alexander, was in the regular company of her cousins at Craigie House in Cambridge.
She began to draw at an early age and excelled as a watercolorist. This photograph shows her painting, surrounded by her work.
