Description
Yarmouth’s Bridge Street in 1875 included a Greek Revival residence and the foundation of a former mill building overlooking the second falls of the Royal River (at left) and the Royal River Manufacturing Company in the brick mill (on the right).
Workers who lived in the boarding house and apartment building (upper right) spun and wove raw cotton into seamless grain bags and twine for the Royal River Manufacturing Company between 1857 and 1917.
