Description
This photograph dates to February 28, 1901, and shows one of the smaller streetcars at the bridge, ready to return to Town House and then on to Kennebunk's Summer Street station to connect with the Boston and Maine Railroad. Here, Kennebunkport teacher, Miss Rose Seavey, is on her way with others, by trolley and train, to the second inauguration of President McKinley.
