Description
The Grand Opening of the new Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) Hall in Guilford took place in 1904. The previous hall was lost to fire in 1902. The new brick building was built on the same footprint as the original wooden structure. The bricks were fired at Crockett's Brickyard in Guilford.
This building, which was located in Bank Square, included the I.O.O.F. Hall, French & Elliott Store and the Guilford Trust Company.
