George A. Eaton, Brunswick, ca. 1870

Description

George A. Eaton (1843-1918) became an overseer of the cotton mill in Brunswick in about 1880. He had served in the U.S. Navy for one year during the Civil War.

The son of George L. and Frances A. Eaton of Brunswick, he was married to Lorania Dunning in about 1867.
