Description
The Hardwood Products Mill Yard showing stacked four foot birch logs. The birch logs are the raw material fed through the mill to produce various wooden items. Hardwood Products was, and still is, located along the Piscataquis River on School Street. This photograph is looking west from the mill yard. The Bangor & Aroostook Railroad is on the left.
