Description
Gilbert Molleson Elliott (1867-1939), a native of New York City, was a physician in Brunswick from 1891 to 1939, and, for a time, was the oldest practicing physician in the town.
He earned bachelor's and master's degrees from Columbia University and a master's degree from the College of the City of New York.
He was a Lt. Col., (retired) in the old Maine National Guard. He served in the Spanish American War as a 1st Lt. and surgeon in the First Maine Infantry.
