Description
This stereoscopic photograph, ca. 1870, was taken from the steeple of the Congregational Church of Cumberland, then mounted on a cardboard backing. Only a short section of Main Street can be seen on the extreme left. Greeley Institute's brick building is seen center right, with, in the distance, the curved end of the horse racing track to its right.
