Description
Dismantling of old bridge on Elm Street to make way for the present day Bradbury Bridge between Biddeford and Springs Island, 1921. Seth Spring first constructed a bridge to the Biddeford mainland, then another to Saco at approximately the same present day bridge locations. This is a rare view of the buildings existing on this end of Elm Street between the Saco-Lowell Shops and the Saco River.
