Description
In 1828, Sylvanis Perkins of Biddeford acknowledged his receipt of his father's farm and personal property, pledging in return to take care of his parents. Perkins was to provide "Good and wholesome food & Good and Decent wearing Apparrell" as well as a funeral, and noted that if he did not do as he promised the agreement would be of no effect.
