Description

Colored lithographed postcard view of Lubec taken from atop the Merchants Hotel on Pleasant Street. The lower right corner shows a portion of Monument Lot. The prominent yellow building on the right long housed Lubec firefighting vehicles. Beyond this building’s roof is the Methodist Church, later IOOF Hall. Running up the hill is School Street.
