Description
Built ca. 1910, the Lubec Knights of Pythias Hall faced Pleasant Street adjacent to Monument Lot. Note the Civil War memorial. The facility exhibited motion pictures, initially silent, from its earliest days. The building behind the hall housed Lubec firefighting equipment, still standing but vacant as of 2010.
