Description
Staff members of Dakin Sporting Goods Co., located at 25 Central Street, including the owner, Everett S. "Shep" Hurd, seated in the center of the picture wearing glasses, a suit, a white shirt, and a dark tie. Mr. Hurd is famous for having alerted authorities to the presence of the Brady Gang in Bangor in the fall of 1937.
