Description
Margaret Hale, chairman of the Committee on Literature of the Maine Association Opposed to Suffrage for Women, reported in late 1915 or early 1916 on the group's activities.
They had distributed more than 600 pamphlets at a Grange convention in Portland in December 1915.
She also reported that the group had ordered pamphlets from Pennsylvania that detailed the "Defeats and Failures of Woman Suffrage."
