Description
The third Congregational church built on this site was completed in 1853 at Broadway and State Streets and was of brick. During the fire of April 30, 1911, it is said that its burning spire on top of the hill at State Street could be seen from miles away. The fourth church on this site was built in 1912-1913 was called All Soul's Church.
