Description
Unveiling of the Centennial Granite Monument by Evelyn Pike, daughter of sardine businessman Bion M. Pike who donated Monument Lot to the Town of Lubec. Miss Pike was 26 days short of her 19th birthday. The monument reads, “Lubec/Incorporated July 21 1811/Commemorated/June 21 1911.”
