Description
The unpaved Main Street in Blaine in 1915, with a population of about 1,000. The automobiles are a recent arrival. Both the A.B. Annis general store and a drug store are to the right.
The town, incorporated in 1874, was named for Maine politician James G. Blaine (1830-1893).
