Description
The Weeks' Brothers lumber mill in Masardis advertised that it sold long and short lumber.
Masardis, settled in 1833 and incorporated in 1839, had a population of 650 in 1910. The town, which is at the junction of the St. Croix and Aroostook rivers, was crucial during the "Aroostook War," a dispute over the border between New Brunswick and Maine.
