Description
Theodore Daoust of Montreal designed Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church and Rectory in Lille. The twin Baroque-style belfries of the church house two archangels blowing trumpets sculpted in 1908 by Quebec sculptor Louis Jobin. The church was completed in 1910.
The church ceased services in 1978. L’Association culturelle et historique du Mont‑Carmel, a non-profit organization, took it over in 1984.
