Description

This beautiful, 48-room hotel was built in the 19th century at Biddeford Pool by the Evans Family. Later it became the Ocean View Motel and then in 1948 was purchased by the Congregation of the Presentation of Mary to become the Marie Joseph Academy. In 1978 it became the Marie Joseph Spiritual Center by the Congregation to offer retreats in the area.
