Description
All of these frame buildings were totally destroyed in the famous Saco House Fire of December 9, 1912. The site is now occupied by the Atkinson Furniture Company building and the Saco Post Office. The businesses in the picture from left to right are: the U Wanna Lunch, A.E. Bail Company, Buchanan's Home Bakery, and the original H. P. Atkinson and Sons. You will notice a sleigh with passengers and horse, a little left of center.
