Description
On March 31, 1893, John C. Sherman was discharged from the Maine Volunteer Militia. Sherman was a corporal in Captain Isaiah H. Baker's company B, First Regiment, Infantry, and was discharged after completing his three year enlistment. Sherman was born in Pembroke, served in Portland, and was discharged in Biddeford.
