Description
Clarence Lee Shaffer Jr. was a member of the Brady Gang and was killed by law enforcement authorities on Central Street on October 12th, 1937 at about 8:30 a.m. Shaffer was 21 years old at the time. He was the driver of the gang's car. In the image, Shaffer is shown lying parallel to old trolley tracks in essentially an east-west position with his head facing westerly.
