Description
In 1937 Stanley Willis of the Hotel Metropolitan in Boston, Massachusetts sent this telegram to Everett S. "Shep" Hurd to see if he was interested in making theater and nightclub appearances. Mr. Hurd became a celebrity after alerting law enforcement authorities to the presence of the Brady Gang in Bangor.
