Description
The expansion of the powers of the Laconia Company of Biddeford in February 1844.
The Laconia Company was incorporated in 1841 by Parker McCobb, Samuel Batchelder, Rufus Nichols, and James Montgomery; only three years later the company filed this paperwork to double its real and personal estate purchasing power from $500,000 to $1,000,000.
