Description
This view along Lubec’s Water Street commences with the Lubec Herald building, later razed. The newspaper folded in 1956. Then comes Mulholland’s Market, the Dodge grocery store, Dodge’s Department Store, and the building which once housed the A&P grocery store. Far distant is the American House apartment building.
As of 2010 Mullholland’s Market building houses Lubec Landmarks/Historic McCurdy Smokehouse. Dodge’s grocery is home of the Atlantic House Deli, and the Dodge Department store stands vacant. The other buildings are gone.
