Description
Frank Moore can be seen looking over a snowbank while removing snow from his driveway. The Blizzard of 1952 covered Hallowell with 28 inches of snow. Hallowell High School, located near where this photograph was taken, canceled classes for the first time in many years.
The Johnson House, designed by architect John Calvin Stevens, is in the distance.
