Description
Raquetteurs or snowshoers from Franco snowshoe clubs pose in Biddeford in 1927 at the American Snowshoe Congress -- l'Union Americain des Raquetteurs -- annual competition.
The event featured races and a torch-light parade and was attended by about 400 people from 12 clubs, mostly in Maine.
