Description
This receipt provides proof that Simeon Webber received payment of $70.43 for boarding and clothing the wife and children of Richard Webber, a pauper. Simeon Webber provided services to Richard Webber's wife and four children for seven weeks, to Richard Webber's wife and three children for one week, and to Richard Webber's wife and two children for 13 weeks. The receipt is signed by John Hamilton, who received payment for Simeon Webber.
The Cumberland Overseers of the Poor in 1830 bound out for indenture two of Richard Webber's children, David and Isaac.
