Description
In 1962 the congregation of the Congregational Church in Cumberland recognized the need for a larger parish house as the membership and activities had expanded.
The old brick parsonage was sold to enable the church to purchase more land beside the church, and the home on the property became the parsonage.
The building of the new parish house, which is shown in this photograph, was completed and dedicated in September 1964.
