Description
This house, known as the "second" Sturdivant house, was built in 1700 on Route 88 in what is present day Town of Cumberland across from Wildwood Park and a little south.
At the time it was built the area that is now Cumberland was part of the Town of North Yarmouth.
Next to it was the old cattle pound. The house was not lived in at the time the trolley line, Portland to Yarmouth, was built and was demolished to make way for the track.
