Description
This broad view of Bangor and the Penobscot River was taken from the belfry of the Hammond Street Congregational Church and shows the dense clusters of buildings in downtown Bangor. Crossing the Penbscot is the old covered toll bridge to Brewer, with the egyptian style entrance arch on the Bangor side.
