Description
This view from the top of Thomas Hill would have placed Bangor's famous standpipe behind the viewer. The Bangor Children's Home can be seen at the bottom of the hill to the left.
The low, hipped-roof structure beside the Children's Home is a miniature planing mill built as an exhibition for the Centennial Day by Dole & Fogg and donated by them as a play structure.
