Description
A view of Bangor from the belfry of the old court house shows a profusion of buildings.
State Street is the prominent street in the center of the photograph, with the sweeping curve of Franklin Street in the foreground.
The rubble on the lower right is that of the old high school and grammar school, which burned in 1882.
