Description
The Wheelwright building was built during the mid 19th century and was originally a shop where Civil War soldiers' uniforms were made.
During the 1940s the building housed a variety of retail businesses including Carroll Perfumer, Jake's Clothing Company, Progressive Business College, Telex Hearing Aids, Clare's Souvenirs, and the Ed Miller Co.
