Description
The program cover for the 1964 annual Congres National l'Union Americaine des Raquetteurs -- the convention of the American Union of Snowshoe Clubs -- held in Lewiston February 28-March 1.
The program features an illustration of the classic crossed snowshoes. The cover is written in French as nearly all the snowshoe clubs came from Franco communities in the Northeast.
Le Montagnard of Lewiston was the country's first snowshoe club.
