Description

In 1978, Lewiston, the home of the nation's first snowshoe club, hosted the 54th Convention National.

The program text reads, "Le Club Montagnard Vous Souhaite Tous La Plus Cordial Vienvenue A Lewiston, Ville Mere Du Mouvement De La Raquette Aux Etats-Unis."

In English, it means, "The Montagnard Club wishes you a most cordial welcome to Lewiston, the mother of the snowshoe movement in the United States."
