Description
Looking south on North Main Street, Guilford, in the mid 1930s. Weatherbee's Plumbing occupied the ground floor of the former Turner House. The upper floors were used as the annex to the Braeburn Hotel. Straight ahead is the Guilford Industries (brick building with twin stacks). Notice the 1930s automobiles. The Straw & Martin building bay window can be seen on the right, which still exists today, and is the current site of the Guilford Historical Society.
