Description
Academy Street in Hallowell with trees and branches down and power lines covered with ice and a tree fallen on a power line. Hallowell and surrounding areas lost power for a number of days in January after the ice storm. Some areas of Maine were out of power for up to two weeks. Bangor Hydro spent about 5 million dollars in repairs.
