Description
"Down at our Swimming Pool with Larry the dog swimming in the Pool. School Picnic, May 1937. Nellie Smith, Teacher." This unique recreation facility was built by the North Yarmouth Community Club. Members built up boards, hauled in sand for the pool's bottom, and dammed Toddy Brook. The pool was 5' deep with a sandy bottom. A changing room was also built.
