Description
Built in 1898, this first Catholic Church building in Lubec, on Main Street, served until 1937 when the Sacred Heart Church on Church Street opened. Long gone, it lay between the Disciples of Christ/Christian Temple Church on the left and the George McCurdy house on the right, both remaining as of 2010. Close scrutiny reveals broken louvers in the bell tower, and signs of disrepair about the foundation.
