Description
The Hallowell Grange Hall was located on the north side of Vaughan Stream and east side of Water Street. It was originally a warehouse for the McClench Brothers Machine Shop. Dianna Gibson, a direct descendant of Dr. Benjamin Vaughan, purchased the grange hall and made it part of the family property on Sheppards Point. The building fell into disrepair and she had it disassembled and taken to the Vaughan Homestead ca. 2000. Beams from the hall were then used to construct a utility/craft building at the Homestead.
