Description
A truck is parked in front of the generating station for the Augusta-Hallowell-Gardiner trolley line. Vaughan Street descends on the right and the Mclench Brothers Machine Shop is behind it. The generating station eventually became the Hallowell Public Works Garage. The McClench Machine Shop was torn down and Vaughan Street was discontinued after the railroad bridge was removed in the 1990s. The area to the right became part of the Augusta to Gardiner rail trail.
