Description
This picture was taken in a Canadain school where Louis B. Lausier received his education. He is the second on the right in the third row.
Mr. Lausier served 15 terms as a democratic mayor of Biddeford from 1941 to 1954. He was well known as PaPa Lausier. The man was loved for keeping expenses and taxes very low. He ran for Governor of Maine in the 1950s. Lausier served as a local Court Judge, city assessor, and city councilman in 1910. He spoke fluent French and English.
