Description
The 1924 senior class at Portland High School performed "The Taming of the Shrew" on May 10, 1924.
The performers were Oswell Brown as Baptista; Philip Higgins, Petruchio; Sam Karlin, Hortensio; Harold Randall and Carl Zolov as Biondello and Pedro; Ralph Case as Grumio; Francis Lydon, Howard Kaslin, and Norman Lomas ad Nathaniel, Gregory, and Gabriel; Lavon Zakarian as cook to Petruchio; Meredith Thrall, a music master; Norris Levine, a tailor; Sarah Greenberg and Mary Pennell as Katherine, the shrew and Bianca; and Gladys Miller as Curtis.
