Description
The President of the United States, William H. Taft, visits the Pool, on July 28, 1910. President Taft, wearing a dark coat and white yachting cap, can be seen coming up the pier, just beyond his famous military aide, Major Archie Butt, who died on the Titanic less than two years later. The presidential yacht lies at anchor in the background.
