Description
Bathing at Pleasant View Beach, Fortune's Rocks, Biddeford circa 1908.
The well tailored sailor suit was the height of beach fashion in the 1890s and early 1900s and passed the Beach Patrol’s scrutiny. Their job was to ensure that women’s skirts were not too short.
