Description
Saco Grange float in Biddeford's Tercentenary Parade, September 16, 1916. This photo was taken at Elm and Mason Streets. The sign on the float for Saco Grange #53 reads; "Educate and Elevate the American Farmer." The men and women on the front of the float wear cover-ups with wide-brimmed straw sun hats; the women on the back of the ride are dressed all in white and wear mortarboards decorated with the Stars and Stripes.
