Description
The Coast Guard had long planned to move the body of Hopley Yeaton from Lubec to the Academy, but with the new memorial not finished, Hoply Yeaton’s remains would rest temporarily on the nearest federal land, West Quoddy Head Lighthouse in Lubec. Here the concrete vault at the lighthouse is placed into position.
