Description
This is a gold medal presented to Elise Pooler of the John Bapst Class of 1929 for achievement in mathematics. This was one of the first academic pins "handed out in 1929." 1928-29 were the school's first year of operation.
The front of the medal is engraved with the word "Mathematics" and the lamp of learning. The back is engraved "Elise C. Pooler, J.B.H.S., 1929."
